West Ocean is a 2 tower high rise condo development located on the west end of downtown. Built as a true luxury product it was meant to compete with perennial favorites like the Pacific and the International Towers bringing new luxury to Ocean Blvd. Tower 1 is the tallest tower at 29 stories tall. Both were built to maximize views from the Queen Mary and the harbor to looking to the skyline and Signal Hill.

Residences

The floor plans in this Long Beach condo development were well thought out. Floor plans were identified with letters (A-G, but there is not an "E" floor plan). Floor plans range in size from a 1 bedroom + tech area at 984 sq ft to larger floor plans like the 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom (H model) that is 1,735 sq ft. As in many developments there is usually a popular floor plan and for this development, Tower 1 had their Residence C floor plan that many enjoyed because it was functional, in the corner for maximum light and well sized at 1,414 sq ft.

Unlike some of the historic condos, every single condo here will have a balcony. Larger floor plans even get two balconies!

Interior Styling and Features

The builder ensured that all ktichens were done with Granite countertops and back splashes. Flooring was provided to be tile and carpeting, however many owners went the route of upgrading their units so you will often find stunning travertien entry ways and a variety of wood flooring used in the living room areas.

Although it traditionally stays cool year round on Ocean Blvd, all units do have air conditioning. Phone outlets and cable TV access is provided in all bedrooms and the living area. All units have inside laundry with some having access for a stackable and others floor plans will have room for side by side.

Amenities

With the quality of the amenities, you may do nothing but order in and enjoy the grounds. There is a beautiful pool area between the two towers that is reminiscent of a Las Vegas hotel. You will find the pool, spa, BBQ area and fire pits to lay out and enjoy. Inside you will be able to use the gym, billiard room, wine lockers (for each unit), offices, and a common area that you can reserve for private parties.
